Hello and Welcome!
My name is Pam Sanidakos. I have been involved in the animal welfare field for over 20 years. When I began working in rescue one of our main focuses was on the rescue and adoption of young adoptable mixed breed dogs out of local kill shelters. As time went on it grieved me to see senior companion animals who were unlikely to be rescued and/or adopted. They truly didn't belong there and were most likely discarded or relinquished by friends or family members of an ailing or deceased owner.
NABS is not only a rescue, it is also a retirement home on The Bayou for senior companion animals - our sweet Scruffies. If you need to make arrangements for your elderly pet now or want to plan ahead for after you are gone, please contact me to discuss your situation.
